Administrative Data Submission Services
Illinois healthcare providers are required to submit administrative data according to the specifications of IHA and IDPH. This includes inpatient, outpatient surgical, emergency department, imaging and observation data. Using COMPdata allows departments such as Finance, Planning and Quality to plan for the future by analyzing trends, evaluating revenue, identifying avoidable emergency department visits and more.

Automated Production System
Facility General Usage Agreement:
- Submit data early to provide ample time to review and correct edit errors.
- The facility is responsible for file submission and review of information provided by COMPdata's automated production system.
- Your facility or vendor is responsible for the reconciliation of format and major edit errors. COMPdata is unable to resolve programming and coding issues at the facility level.

COMPdata's daily submission services will inform you of the following:
- Failed files
- Suggestion for communicating issues with your vendor or IT department to reconcile file format or edit error issues.
